Emerging Front of House Finalist!

When Cassels Brewing Co came in recently to take some photos of their new “Nectaron” Single Hopped IPA, 6.1%, featuring the newly named “Nectaron” hop (previously known as 4337 in it’s trial phase) which we’re currently pouring, we said that they could, provided they got some snaps of the absolute champ of a human standing behind the tap.
This is Katie, who was recently nominated a finalist in the @canterburyhospitalityawards as “Emerging Front of House”. We distinctly remember interviewing Katie early in 2019, and despite not having hospo experience, we were completely blown away by how how personable she was, and her huge desire to connect with people. Her spot in the finals for the awards is in our eyes the perfect recognition of how fantastically she’s treated everyone who’s walked through the door, and how in her work every day, she is the essence of everything that hospitality is.
